Creative Drama:
Meets Mon 3:45-4:15: Ages
4-7
It's never too early to begin fostering a love of performing
in children.
Creative Drama instills the foundations of acting and performing in each begginning
student. Confidence,
imagination, creativity, problem solving, and communication skills are developed
as students
learn to
express themselves using their voice and body.
Center Stage I Performers:
Meets Mon. 2:45pm-3:45pm:
Ages 8 and up
A group of kids that Act, Sing and Dance that will
perform every semester in a season show
that showcases what they have been working on in class and their love for theatre.
Will learn
Acting skills including: improv, roll playing, paper bag skits, & pantomime.
Kids will have a
chance to learn new songs and improve there singing skill with a vocal coach who
will set
chorography to their songs.
Center Stage II Performers:
Meets Mon. 5:00-6:00: Ages 12+
A class that will be offered to students from
the Theatrical Director when a student is older
or
has shown they are ready for more expericance and responsibilities to expand
on what was learned
in Center stage I.
ACT OUT
Meets Mon. 6:00-7:00 and Friday 3:45-4:45
This Performing Group requires more from the actor in their daily classes and students
will be required
to learn and perform more frequently in the Community. This class of performers
may have more
responsibilities in the shows such as;
Solos,
Set Design, and Backstage Crew; this group meets twice a
week. This class is strictly by
invitation
only from the Theatrical Arts Dept. Students will only be invited
to
be in this group if they are committied - by having failthful attentance in lower
classes and can meet the demands
of the CBTA Theatre Performances.
I & II Class Attire is: T-shirt and jeans (no
skirts); Suitable active shoes.
*Students may be required to buy black jazz shoes
and studio T shirt for performances
Note: A one time $10.00 Processing Fee is applied on first months tutions
